Mining Engineering Bursary

About this opportunity

South African students pursuing Mining Engineering can apply for the Glencore Coal South Africa Bursary Programme for 2027. The opportunity is open to students preparing to enter their first year of university as well as eligible students already studying at university. The bursary provides financial support for several essential education-related expenses, including tuition fees, accommodation, meals, prescribed textbooks, compulsory academic excursions or seminars, travel allowances and a personal allowance. Applications are being accepted by Glencore Coal SA, with a closing date of 30 October 2026. Preference will be given to applicants from local communities where the company's Coal Operations South Africa are located.
