Master's and PhD Study in Canada

About this opportunity

Canada is increasing its focus on attracting talented international students at the master's and doctoral levels, creating new opportunities for graduate students seeking high-quality education, research experience and potential career pathways. According to the Government of Canada, graduate students accounted for 21% of new study permits issued between January and June 2026, compared with 12% during the same period in the corresponding period of the previous year. The Canadian government says it is placing greater emphasis on attracting the world's best and brightest researchers and graduate students as overall study permit volumes decrease. For international students considering postgraduate education abroad, Canada offers access to world-class universities, research institutions and opportunities to remain and work in the country after graduation.
