The Journal of Politics and Civil Society is inviting researchers and scholars to submit original manuscripts for the first issue of Politics and Civil Society, a new interdisciplinary academic journal examining the relationship between civil society, politics, democracy, institutions and social change. The inaugural issue welcomes high-quality contributions offering original empirical, comparative, theoretical or methodological research that engages with contemporary debates surrounding civic participation, democratic governance, social inequalities and the role of civil society in political and social transformation.

The Journal of Politics and Civil Society is accepting several types of academic manuscripts.

Research Articles: 7,000–10,000 words

Methodological Articles: 6,000–9,000 words

Review Articles: 8,000–12,000 words

Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words

The stated word counts include references, tables and figures.
