Restless Development Uganda is inviting applications for the position of Programme Coordinator – Organisational Development & Advocacy in Kampala. The role offers an opportunity for an experienced development professional to coordinate youth employment, organisational strengthening, advocacy, and market systems initiatives supporting young people across Uganda.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening youth-led organisations and civil society partners while supporting advocacy efforts that promote inclusive and dignified employment opportunities. The position is offered on a two-year fixed-term contract, with an expected start date of October 2026.

Requirements
Eligibility and Required Qualifications
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Organisational Development, Public Administration, Community Development, Political Science, or a related discipline.
Candidates must have at least three years of relevant experience coordinating organisational development, capacity strengthening, governance, or advocacy programmes within Uganda’s development sector.
Applicants should also demonstrate experience working with Youth-Led Organisations, Community-Based Organisations, civil society organisations, or grassroots institutions.
Additional essential skills and experience include organisational capacity strengthening, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, programme coordination, budget tracking, reporting, facilitation, networking, and relationship management.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of safeguarding, gender equality, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as proficiency in Micro
