The SDG Innovation Summit Malaysia 2026 (SISM) is a four-day international summit bringing together 100+ young leaders, students, entrepreneurs, researchers, and changemakers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19โ22 November 2026. Organised by the Global Youth Network (GYN), the summit focuses on turning innovative ideas into practical solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The programme covers SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Participants engage in keynote sessions, leadership workshops, panel discussions, innovation activities, and networking opportunities, with a chance to compete for a US$1,000 Seed Grant.
Open to applicants worldwide aged 17โ50 of any nationality and any academic or professional background. Eligible profiles include students, graduates, volunteers, social entrepreneurs, professionals, researchers, activists, and changemakers. Applicants must demonstrate interest in the SDGs, show leadership potential and a visionary mindset, and be available to attend in Kuala Lumpur from 19โ22 November 2026. IELTS or TOEFL is not required. Previous volunteering or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory. A US$18.50 non-refundable application fee is required.
