Czech Government Scholarships 2027/2028 for Students from Developing Countries - Global South Opportunities
About this opportunity
The Government of the Czech Republic is inviting eligible international students from selected developing and specific third countries to apply for Government Scholarships for the 2027/2028 academic year. The programme supports full-time study at public higher education institutions in the Czech Republic and forms part of the country’s Foreign Development Cooperation.
Applications for the 2027/2028 academic year are open from 21 August to 30 September 2026. Successful applicants will begin their studies during the 2027/2028 academic year.
Requirements
Eligible Countries
For the 2027/2028 academic year, Government Scholarships are available only to citizens of the following countries:
• Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Georgia
• Ukraine
• Belarus, democratic forces
• Ethiopia
• Gabon
• Mauritania
• Zambia
• Bangladesh
• Cambodia
• Palestine
• Guatemala
• Honduras
Applicants must meet the nationality and other eligibility requirements established in the official scholarship guidelines.
