Are you a young changemaker passionate about civic space, youth rights, and social justice? Do you want to influence global civil society policy and strategy? The CIVICUS Youth Action Team (YAT) is looking for dynamic leaders aged 18–30 from across the globe to join its 2025–2026 cohort!

🧭 About the CIVICUS Youth Action Team

The Youth Action Team (YAT) is a youth-led advisory body within CIVICUS, the global civil society alliance. YAT works to ensure that youth voices are actively shaping the governance, strategy, and programming of the CIVICUS World Alliance—empowering over 4,000 youth members globally.

This is a fully funded, high-impact volunteer opportunity where you’ll help co-create policies, lead initiatives, and represent young people in global civic spaces.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

You should apply if you:

• Are 18–30 years old by 31 December 2025
• Have experience in youth activism, civic engagement, or human rights advocacy
• Are part of a civil society group or movement (registered or informal)
• Can dedicate at least 10 hours/month to YAT work
• Can attend a one-week in-person meeting yearly (if travel allows)
• Are comfortable working online across time zones in English
• Have approval from your organization to participate
• Live in eligible countries/regions (excludes Mexico, Zimbabwe, Zambia)
